GRA is known for its groundedness, working with local powers to respond to community demands beyond rhetoric. By building on inherent individuals in their collective, GRA’s community based system has created an organic group of people that has the power to identify and resolve problems. Continuing to build power of community requires that support is extended to them over a longer period of time. To do this, both communities and groups like Global Rights Alert must be safe.
